AT&T Scholarship and Professional Accreditation Programs

Do you care for a family member of an AT&T employee?

AT&T is committed to supporting their employees in their efforts to seek and keep high-quality care for their loved ones. AT&T employees can focus better on their jobs when they can afford to worry less about the quality and safety of their family care.

Together with the Communications Workers of America (CWA) and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), AT&T created the Family Care Development Fund to improve the quality of child and elder care services available to AT&T employees where they live and work.

The AT&T Scholarship and Professional Accreditation Program

is one way that the Family Care Development Fund is supporting the enhancement of child and elder care services in communities throughout the United States. Through this program, people who care for children or elders of AT&T employees are eligible to receive scholarships to professional conferences and to pursue professional accreditation. Caregivers can use the funding to learn about the latest care issues from experts in the field, obtain new resources, network with professionals who share common goals, and ultimately, strengthen the services they provide.

The accreditation process typically takes three years, and while AT&T hopes to support you through the duration, it is not guaranteed. At each stage of the process, where an expense is incurred, you must submit an application for support, requiring that you care for a family member of an AT&T employee.

Funding support is available for accreditation by several national and state accrediting organizations.
