Nanny Training Institute (NTI)

The Nanny Training Institute (NTI) provides “Essential Training” and resources to professional nannies and the families they serve to enhance the quality of in-home child care across the country.

NTI offers affordable programs to meet the educational needs of nannies and the families that they care for. Nannies can participate in professional development and networking activities.

The in-person, comprehensive Nanny Essentials Training course is available from NTI in the Washington DC Metro area, or a participating agency where the nanny lives. Upon completion of the training course, nannies can opt to take the Nanny Essentials Exam, which is submitted to and scored by NTI to earn a training certificate.

A must-have resource for parents and nannies of all experience levels is the Nanny Essentials Kit. This is also a great resource for business to keep for employees to check out in their libraries.

NTI is brought to you by LifeWork Strategies, Inc (LWS). LWS serves families and business:

  • child & elder care resources
  • work & family seminars
  • health & wellness seminars
  • employee assistance program (EAP)
LWS is a member of the International Nanny Association, and also encourages nannies and agencies to join INA.

LWS is also a member of the National Associations of Nannies, and the Association of DC Area Nannies.
