Wellness Works Program

Advocate can help your employees and your organization to build strong capacities—figuratively, intellectually and financially—through the implementation of a wellness program that works for you. Wellness programs are designed based on the needs, interests, and demographics of your organization. A sample Advocate wellness program follows. You can learn about the specific return on investments of wellness programs through the Wellness Councils of America.

Advocate can assist you in designing and implementing an annual wellness program to correspond with the national health observances calendar. The following sample plan focuses on 1-3 wellness issues per month:

  • Employees receive points for each activity in which they participant and at the end of each month, quarterly, and/or at the end of the program, can cash in their points for prizes. An advanced program may include wellness coaching for employees and/or require that participants take regular measurements of their health throughout the program. Without the aid of a wellness coach, another effective approach is to ask employees to join teams for support and accountability.
